We are an ambitious cybersecurity startup developing innovative solutions to help enterprises protect against evolving threats. As a Software & DevSecOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, building microservices while ensuring robust DevSecOps practices in our core SaaS platform.

Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced engineer with deep expertise in Golang, Kubernetes, and secure microservices architecture. You'll take ownership of end-to-end platform development: from designing and implementing core backend services to automating secure deployments and managing production environments.

This is a hands-on founding role that combines software engineering, security, and operations — ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of development and DevSecOps. You'll work closely with the founding team to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure products while establishing our long-term engineering standards and culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core backend services and APIs using Golang and microservices architectures.
• Implement secure, scalable infrastructure on Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• Integrate DevSecOps best practices into the CI/CD pipeline — from automated testing and security scanning to continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into secure, performant systems.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability across distributed environments.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and incident response frameworks.
• Contribute to infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm, etc.) for reproducible and secure environments.
• Drive internal security reviews, threat modeling, and compliance automation.
• Mentor team members and help establish a culture of engineering excellence and "secure by design."
• Partner with leadership to influence architecture and product roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering or DevSecOps roles, ideally within SaaS or cybersecurity environments.
• Strong proficiency in Golang and microservices development.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, security, and operations).
• Solid understanding of cloud-native security, container hardening, and secure CI/CD practices.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm) and CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions).
• Deep understanding of API design, distributed systems, and application-level security.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
