Lausanne / Crissier, Switzerland, 14 October 2026 – Panop, the Swiss exposure management company, and Exoscale, the European cloud provider and part of A1 Digital, today announced a partnership to deliver sovereign exposure management. Panop’s platform, which continuously discovers, validates and prioritizes security exposure across cloud environments, external attack surfaces and third-party ecosystems, is now available on Exoscale infrastructure and through the Exoscale Marketplace.
European organizations have spent the past years moving regulated workloads to sovereign cloud infrastructure. Their security tooling has not followed. Most exposure management and cloud security platforms still process customer findings in US-operated clouds, subject to the US CLOUD Act. The result is a contradiction: a live map of where an organization is vulnerable, arguably the most sensitive data it generates, sits outside the jurisdiction the organization chose for everything else.
The partnership closes that gap in two directions.
Panop runs on Exoscale. The Panop platform operates on Exoscale’s European infrastructure, with data centers in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Croatia and Bulgaria. Customer exposure data is processed and stored inside European jurisdiction, exempt from the US CLOUD Act, with the data location chosen by the customer.
Panop assesses Exoscale. Panop is the first exposure management platform with native Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) support for Exoscale. Organizations running workloads on Exoscale can now continuously check their configurations, detect drift and exposed services, and receive validated, prioritized findings, a capability that until now was limited to the large US hyperscalers.
Together, the two companies offer European enterprises, public sector organizations and regulated industries something that did not exist before: exposure management where both the monitored infrastructure and the resulting security intelligence stay sovereign.
“Exposure data is a blueprint of your weaknesses, and sovereignty must extend to the intelligence that reveals them. Panop autonomously validates what attackers can actually exploit and prioritizes it by business impact. With Exoscale, that critical security data stays under European jurisdiction.”, says Sergi Cuny Lafond, CEO of Panop.
“Sovereignty doesn’t stop at infrastructure. With Panop, the first exposure management platform built natively for Exoscale, our customers secure the whole stack and stay continuously compliant with NIS2 and DORA”, says Mathias Nöbauer, CEO of Exoscale.
What customers get
- Continuous, seedless discovery of the external attack surface, without asset lists or agents
- Native CSPM assessment of Exoscale environments, alongside existing multi-cloud coverage
- Validation of findings through safe offensive simulation, so teams act on exploitable exposure rather than raw severity scores
- Prioritization by business impact, with findings routed into existing ticketing workflows
- Data processing on European infrastructure, with customer-selected residency
Availability
Panop is available now through the Exoscale Marketplace and directly from Panop. Existing Exoscale customers can deploy the platform against their environments without prior setup. More information: panop.io and exoscale.com/marketplace.
