hickory-resolver < 0.26.2 contains a DNSSEC authentication bypass caused by failure to propagate bogus DNSSEC proof states in Resolver::lookup() and Resolver::lookup_ip() APIs, letting attackers with control over DNS or network path bypass DNSSEC validation.
